Private design-partner pilot

Test Setout Pro on the job—not in a staged demo.

We are inviting UK owner-operators and small residential trade teams to use the current product on real surveys, quotations and handovers, then tell us exactly where it still slows them down.

A real trade job moving through an evidence-led private pilot cycle

A clear definition

What is the Setout Pro private pilot?

The pilot is a pre-public-release programme for firms willing to test the real mobile and tablet workflow. It is not a claim that every planned capability is finished, and internal TestFlight access is not presented as a public App Store listing.

Help shape a field tool around what trades actually do: measure, explain, price, agree and hand work over—not around another office feature checklist.

How it works

A focused pilot, with useful evidence

The best partner can bring one representative job and explain who surveys, who prices, who talks to the customer and who performs the work.

  1. 01

    Fit check

Tell us your trade, team size, device mix and current survey-to-quote process.

  2. 02

    Safe onboarding

Use fictional or appropriately authorised customer and site data during early testing.

  3. 03

    One real workflow

Take a suitable job from measurement through quote and, if won, handover.

  4. 04

    Report friction

Show where copy, controls, recovery or role views do not match the field reality.

  5. 05

    Verify improvements

Retest substantial fixes in a later exact build rather than assuming source changes solved them.

In practice

Who we want to hear from

  • Owner-operators who measure and quote their own work.
  • Small firms where a surveyor or estimator hands work to an operative.
  • Builders, kitchen fitters, plumbers, heating engineers and gas firms with room-based residential jobs.
  • Phone and tablet users willing to explain the practical difference between a good demo and a usable site tool.

The honest boundary

Pilot honesty

  • The product remains pre-public-release; store links stay disabled until verified.
  • Supported capture depends on device capability and real validation; manual and import paths remain available.
  • Participants should not rely on the app as a safety, compliance or professional certification tool.
  • No testimonial, success metric or public endorsement is assumed from participation.

Questions, answered plainly

Frequently asked questions

How do I request pilot access?

Email hello@setoutpro.com with your trade, team size, phone or tablet model and the type of job workflow you want to test.

Is the pilot a public app-store download?

No. The site will publish App Store and Google Play buttons only after the exact public listings are verified.

What feedback is most useful?

Concrete evidence from a real workflow: where information is re-entered, where a control is unclear, where role access is wrong or where recovery does not preserve the job safely.
